Who i am

I’m Adam - a midlife traveler who somehow turned “maybe I just need a long drive” into an entire adventure project. I’m here documenting the real, unfiltered parts of travel: the beautiful views, the questionable decisions, the “why did I think this was a good idea” moments, and everything in between.

HOW SLIGHTLY OFF COURSE BEGAN

This whole thing started because lift felt… well, slightly off course. I needed a reset, a direction, and maybe a little push outside my comfort zone. What I found instead was a passion for exploring new places, telling real stories, and sharing what midlife adventure actually looks like.

Spoiler:
It’s not perfect.
It’s not polished.
But it’s real — and honestly, that’s better.

WHAT I DO

I create travel-focused content centered around:
- Road trips that are definitely longer than they need to be
- Documentary-style storytelling
-Hiking, camping, geocaching, and general outdoors chaos
-Photography (landscapes, travel, and the occasional “wow I actually took that? moment)
-Real-life, midlife adventure that aren’t curated or pretentious

I make videos, take photos, share stories, and try to capture what it feels like to explore life with curiosity — even when the path isn’t perfectly clear.

WHY “SLIGHTLY OFF COURSE”?

Because that’s where the good stuff happens.
The unexpected turns.
The weird stops.
The accidental viewpoints.
The stories you never planned on telling.

Life rarely goes according to plan, and honestly… the heavens for that.

Right now, I’m exploring from Central New York, prepping for bigger adventures, longer trips, and new places (including a journey to Washington State).
